1. Training in the ASI for Children's Services
The ASI-AF is an evidence-based assessment tool for the purposes of anticipating post-placement support needs in adoption and fostering. A four day training course is available to establish reliable use of the ASI-AF and to build up practitioners' skills in making assessments of characteristics of parents and carers. It encompasses their quality of close relationships, social support and security of adult attachment style.
For further information on training please visit www.childandfamilytraining.org.uk or contact:
ASI@childandfamilytraining.org.uk, tel. 01904 624775
More information on ASI measure itself can be found on this page or contact lifespantraining at mdx.ac.uk.

2.
Ordering Attachment Style Interview Packs
Printed or Electronic copies of the ASI Interview Pack are available to those who have completed the four day training and can be ordered. Sample ‘taster’ version of Electronic ASI pack is available – please email us (lifespantraining at mdx.ac).uk to receive a copy or to purchase interview packs.

More on the ELECTRONIC version of ASI pack now available for agency or individual use:
Due to numerous requests Lifespan are very pleased to now be able to offer a high quality electronic version of the Attachment Style Interview (ASI) pack for social care teams and independent practitioners who are fully trained in the assessment tool. In response to practitioner demand, Lifespan have developed the pack utilising the latest PDF technology for convenience of use, for data sharing, and to fulfil agency demands for electronic storage of evidence-based assessment records. The PDF Acrobat format document enables the Electronic ASI to be shared amongst members of an organisation and can be re-used an indefinite number of times. Download Electronic ASI flyer and for more information.

3. ASI Rating Accuracy Check
Centre for Abuse and Trauma studies provides rating accuracy feedback from our research team. The cost of individual Rating Accuracy Check is £60 per case (bulk discounts available, please contact us for more details).
If ordering copies of printed ASI Pack together with Rating Accuracy Check services there is no minimum Pack order, as above. Please note that in unusually complicated cases our Rating Accuracy Check fee will be higher than £60 – if this is the case you will be informed of case complexity in advance and we will not proceed with Rating service until your approval/agreement is granted.

Workshops can be arranged for a range of professionals involved in the services and adoption-fostering panel members. For enquiries or rates, contact Child and Family Training. ASI@childandfamilytraining.org.uk, tel. 01904 624775
